Khana Commune is an exciting new way to dine in Singapore. Open to all members of the public, it offers authentic dining based in the comfort and intimacy of a chef's home (my home!). Located in Pasir Panjang, table bookings can be made for 1-18 people at a time. Dinners are held at 8pm twice a month on specified dates. $60 a head for a 5-8 course set menu.
You can view pictures and details of previous dinners/menus on this blog and on the Facebook page. Dinner is based on a set-menu, which changes with every dinner I throw, and I will usually post the upcoming menu 1 week before any dinner.
If none of the dates I have confirmed suit you, and you would like to suggest an alternative date, get in touch and we can look into it.

An inaugural meal. Tonight I hosted my first table of complete strangers. I was nervous but excited. Thankfully, I’ve already hosted a couple of dinners already and tonight was pulled off with less sweat, tears and frantic running around. Thanks … Continue reading →
A quick trip to the maximum city over Christmas weekend, meant stuffing our faces silly. What is there to do in Bombay? Nothing, to the naked eye. What is there to do in Bombay? Too much actually. Bombay is not … Continue reading →
Apologies for the delay – I’ve been busy eating way too much palak paneer in Bombay over this Xmas weekend. The menu for this Wednesday:
So last night, I tried something a little different. Instead of one table of 8, I served 12 guests, spread out on two tables. 8 guests around my beautiful new teak table and another 4 around our pre-existing BBQ table. … Continue reading →
Tonight Khana Commune became Khana Courtyard. I moved the second commune outside to our garden for tonight’s meal. I love outdoor dining, especially on these breezy December nights. Singapore is especially lovely this time of the year…..might as well take … Continue reading →
This little contraption has come a long way. Spotted in a Jerusalem bazaar. Haggled. Disappointed to find price too high. Return back to hostel two hours later to find: my lovely friends had bought it for me. Then began the … Continue reading →
